I met Nick at the Charismatic Center in Houston, USA. This young man, a medical student, was not interested in anything spiritual and he did not go to church. Although medicine is his subject, he loves art and literature. One day, he chanced upon his friend watching Shalom World on his mobile device. Nick immediately noticed it because of a music program which was presented beautifully. This piqued his interest and he started watching Shalom World. This initial attraction gave way to seeking the truth – a journey that brought him to Christ. Today, he is a pro-life activist!

It is not necessary that one knows Christ through the Gospel alone. Let me explain… Every human being has a desire to enjoy beauty, to grow in goodness, and to seek the truth. What do you think is easily accepted by an individual? That’s right, it is beauty. Pope Benedict XVI says the Church must be attractive and according to Pope Francis, the Church must grow through attraction; evangelization by way of attraction. Even the best food served in a dirty bowl may, at times, not be accepted; the same is true of evangelism. From the time we began our ministry to proclaim the Kingdom of God, He has been generous and showered Shalom with a special beauty and charm. We believe that this is why God gave us an opportunity to present Shalom World in the best way possible. Haven’t you heard people say: “it’s really nice to watch this channel; it’s amazing!”

And, what started with this beauty is not to end there; our goal is to lead souls to Christ, the eternal beauty. Without an understanding and learning of religious matters, any soul will crumble and fall. The love of Christ is not only an emotion but also a decision we must stand by. To stand by and with Christ and the Church, He has entrusted us with SW News. It is a weapon given by God to bring the goodness of the Universal Church to the forefront, to resist challenges and threats and to constantly fight evil. We have just begun and there is much more to do! When we prayed over the channel, the promise we received from above is astonishing!

“Lead me to the high rock that stands far out of my reach.” – Psalm 61:2

“The thing the Church needs most today is the ability to heal wounds… She is wounded,” said Pope Francis. Wounded children of God! You who are unable to turn to the eternal truth, the everlasting God and His only Son – whom He sent for our salvation – the doors of SW Prayer are now open for you. He will work within you through SW Prayer and will lead you to healing of mind, body and soul. It is only through prayer that darkness passes and light enters. Millions of people from different continents are able to send in their prayer requests to be lifted to the Lord. Let’s wait and see what the glorious Lord, who fulfils His promises, has in store for us. A miracle that never occurred among any people or tribe, oh God, you reserved for Shalom…
