St. Magdalene of Canossa, the foundress of our congregation, the Canossian Daughters of Charity, once said, “Jesus is not loved because He is not known”. From her inspiration, we have a call at the core of our charism to evangelize, helping people to encounter Christ. One way that we have been able to bring life to our charism has been through collaborating with Shalom Media Australia .

This has been such a blessing for us, providing a vehicle to reach out to thousands of viewers and spread the message of God’s love. It has been so encouraging to see that the little we contributed has had such a wide reach, inviting people to seek the Lord and delve into a deeper relationship with God in all moments of their lives.

By working with Shalom Media in various ways, we have been able to live our mission and make a difference in the lives of viewers through this wonderful platform. During the years we have been involved with Shalom Media in Australia, we have seen lives touched and witnessed the power of the inspiring messages provided. We appreciate the way that Shalom Media addresses contemporary issues and yet at the same time provides a place of unceasing prayer for current problems, including the 24-hour adoration to end the coronavirus pandemic.

It is so powerful and important that the ministry of Shalom Media is thoroughly grounded in prayer. All the programs and opportunities are rooted in a deep relationship with God, which challenges viewers and brings relevance to their lives. We love the way the Shalom Media team is always looking for new possibilities, new ways to reach out to more people, and join us on the mission of making Jesus known and loved. We are so blessed to be able to collaborate with the Shalom Media team and look forward to continuing to work together in spreading the Good News.
